Trail System Master Plan Update - Seminole County, FL
A thoughtful plan for the backbone of a County’s parks and open space system.
Provided a comprehensive update to the Countywide Trail System Master Plan. The Plan identifies existing and planned regional trail networks and connections to Seminole County, along with City and County existing trails, widened sidewalk links, and parks. This effort validated previously proposed trails and identified new routes to improve connections to cities and communities that do not have access to the trail system. The planning process included extensive GIS analyses supported by ground-truth field reviews. The final plan includes a comprehensive inventory of all existing and proposed trails, a GIS documentation of trails, key destinations, opinions of probable construction costs, and additional document formatted for standalone proposed trails.
